Kyle Busch, one of the purest racing talents NASCAR has ever seen and winner of more national series races than any driver in history, has died after falling severely ill, NASCAR announced Thursday.

Kyle Busch, a two-time Cup Series champion who won more races than anyone across NASCAR's three national series, has died at 41.

Despite not feeling at full health, Busch won the Truck Series race last Friday at Dover Motor Speedway and then finished 17th in the NASCAR All-Star Race on Sunday.
